Interview with Pearl Project. A passion for music and a journey of discovery.

What inspires you to make your genre of music?

First of all thank you for having me and I wish you the very best!!!
The name "Pearl Project" reflects my current approach: I no longer limit myself to one genre, though I started out making house music exclusively under a previous alias. Each track is an individual sonic project, contributing to a diverse tapestry of sound. I aim for deep storytelling that still carries a pop sensibility.

What song(s) or album are you most excited about at this moment in your music journey?

What an unbelievable year for creativity! I'm personally overflowing with excitement regarding the music released this year, and I'm deeply proud to share the three new songs that have made their debut.

Take a listen to the releases that have defined this chapter: the uplifting "A Journey To The Stars (Radio Edit)," the deeply personal "Kept Inside," and the soul soothing "Love 2 Love You."
The best part? The creative fire shows no signs of slowing down. I’m currently immersed in six different production projects, exploring new sounds and ideas that I believe will push the boundaries of my work. Juggling these projects is challenging but incredibly rewarding, and I'm already looking forward to sharing the results of this focused effort with you all in the coming months.

What instruments, techniques, or resources do you use to make your incredible music?

I primarily produce music using the DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) Bitwig Producer, which initially presented a steep learning curve. My setup includes a MIDI controller, a drumpad/machine, and virtual instruments, with plugins proving particularly valuable.
Ultimately, I focus on what I do with my tools that I have, and what I do with it. My mixing process sometimes involves purchasing commercial samples on sale, which I then completely transform to fit my sound.
My creative philosophy is to embrace mistakes... The more you make, the more you learn, leading to truly fantastic music. Once the track is finished, I shift my focus to lyric writing, where I always strive to deliver a deep, meaningful message that encourages the listener to think.

What message of encouragement would you like to share with other musicians?

The single most crucial starting point for any creative endeavor is to create music that you yourself are deeply, genuinely passionate about. Your own conviction is the spark that must ignite the entire project.
If you don't find joy and merit in your own compositions, if you are not your first and loudest fan, how can you expect an audience to connect with it? Your love for the music is the energy that translates through the speakers and compels others to listen and engage. It is the unshakeable foundation that will sustain you through the inevitable challenges of the creative path.
You must be your own biggest fan; if you don't love your own music, how can you expect anyone else to? Believe in yourself and your work. Every journey has a challenging start, but success belongs to those who are perseverant. Loving your own music is loving yourself. Build a signature sound.

Anything else you would like to share with your listeners and fans?

Get ready to mark your calendars because 2026 is going to be a monumental year!
I'm thrilled to announce that I've been pouring all my energy and passion into an expansive body of work, and you can expect a flood of new songs to be released throughout the year. These aren't just one-off tracks; they are the path leading up to my biggest project yet: my first full-length album.
I truly can't wait to share this album with you. It represents a massive step in my artistic journey, capturing the sound, stories, and emotions that have defined my music over the past few years. It's been a labor of love, and I'm counting down the days until I can finally share the finished product with all of you who have supported me.
In addition to the new solo material, I'm also excited to reveal that I'll be working on some fantastic new collaborations. Teaming up with other talented artists always brings a fresh energy and perspective to my sound, and I know these partnerships will lead to some truly special music.
Keep a close eye on 2026...! The music starts dropping soon!!!
